Once this one is downloaded am sure lots of people will make a softsub because it will be a lot easier then. Basically just copying it from the movie to a word document.

It’s certainly the real thing…downloaded in a snap for me, I’m seeding now. I couldn’t help myself in waiting impatiently for L to make his appearance, though. The actors they chose are great in their roles. The storyline they use for the movie is very fitting to get things moving along as nicely as possible, and all I can say is I CAN’T WAIT for The Last Name…the actress for Misa seems INCREDIBLE in the previews. :-O
Even though the subs are not the best, someone still went to a LOT of trouble to do this, and thanks to them!

The subs are a bit off (kinda funny in some parts) and its a bit different….
For those of you that are having trouble, just keep it on thats what I did and it finished after a few hrs.

Hey, I know a lot of you are wanting a direct download of the movie, and well….There are several (so I have heard), but the peeps who have them up are trying to keep it on the downlow so their bandwidth wont get torn up. I know of one DDL but was told not to directly give the link out the people >< . What I can say is to check the Death Note LiveJournal communities. Happy hunting.....(and sorry! It took a while to finish for me, and it was stuck on 98% for a while, but the movie finished for me. It is the real thing, and its not too bad of a translation. It’s nice to finally have the movie with some subs =)

Twas’ an excellent episode of the anime, though the scene with the chips and the survaillaince wasn’t exactly done to my taste. It was way too dramatic. The point of this part of the manga, and the whole episode, is to show the struggle between L and Light and the tricks they keep playing on each other, and in the manga, it is all fairly subtle. Light ripping out the bag with the choral score blaring and writing names in the most dramatic way possible was just cheesy, and should have been more subtle. Other than that, excellent episode, and showed how batshit insane L and Light are, and what lengths they’ll go to win the battle of wits.

What I don’t understand is why this is such a horirble sub? They call L RYuzaki ! Not Tezuki! I mean, I can make out most of it by inferring on my own knowledge, but it sorta makes it hard to enjoy the movie without having to corret the subtitles yourself…
It’s a very basic subbing, which is sorta irritating when added to the fact that it’s at a very small size!!! >:| I hope another subbed version comes out soon!
